Players will learn coordination and athletic skills, along with the basic skills of tennis. This age group will be taught using the quickstart method, which involves the use of pressure-less balls and mini-court tennis. Parents for this age group are required to stay the hour. Players will learn and develop the basic skills of tennis. Players will also be introduced to rules, scoring and match play. The more advanced players will learn to perfect these basic skills to be used in competitive play.
Players will learn and develop basic skills as well as drills that are necessary for match play. The players will learn more advanced skills/drills and be involved in more match play.
High School Prep:
This program is designed to prepare players for High School Level competition. Players will be taught the necessary skills for both singles and doubles match play. This level of play will require more intense training, and therefore the time period is extended to 90 minutes.
